Ingredients list for Bajre Ka Khichda

  • 1 1/2 cups Black millet (bajra) soaked
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery (gur) grated
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • a pinch Salt

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a kadai. Add the bajra and sauté for two to three minutes.
  2. Add sufficient water to cover the bajra. Add jaggery and salt and mix well.
  3. Cook on a medium heat for fifteen to twenty minutes or until completely done. Serve hot.
