Ingredients list for Baath
- 2 1/2 cups Semolina
- 2 Coconut grated grated 2 nos
- 3 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Butter
- 6 Egg Whole
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
Method
- Scrape the coconut and grind into a fine paste. Cream butter and sugar together till fluffy. Break one egg at a time in a separate bowl. Add to the butter mixture and stir to blend well. Add the semolina gradually and blend well.
- Add the coconut paste and baking powder and mix. Add a little milk if the dough is too stiff. Cover and set aside for at least twelve hours. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease some baking trays.
- Divide the mixture into sixteen equal sized balls and press them slightly. Place these balls on the greased trays and bake till done and the top nicely browned.
