Ingredients list for Apple Seviyan Kheer
- 2 medium Red apples
- 2 cups Vermicelli
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 2 cups Reduced milk
- 200 grams Sweet condensed milk
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 6-8 + to garnish Almonds , slivered
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
Method
- Quarter apples and remove core. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Grate apples with skin and add to the pan and saute for 4-5 minutes or till light brown.
- Break vermicelli and add, and saute for 1-2 minutes or till lightly browned. Add reduced milk, mix well and let the vermicelli cook.
- Add sweet condensed milk and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and almonds and mix well.
- Add sugar and mix well and cook till sugar melts.
- Transfer into a serving bowls, garnish with almond slivers and serve hot.
