Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. 
Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Aam Papad - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Ripe mango puree 2 cups

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ghee for greasing

Method

Step 1

Grease 2 trays with ghee.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan, add mango puree, sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes or till the mixture thickens.

Step 3

Pour the prepared mixture on the greased trays and tap the trays gently. Sundry for 2-4 days.

Step 4

Gently remove the aam papad and cut into squares. Serve.
