Ingredients list for Yogurt Cheese

  • 1/4 cup Chenna
  • 1/2 cup Hung yogurt
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Fresh parsley finely chopped
  • as required Red chilli powder
  • as required Roasted peanuts crushed
  • as required Crushed black peppercorns
  • as required Olive oil

Method

  1. Mash chenna in a bowl. Add yogurt and salt and mix well. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Spread parsley, red chilli powder, crushed peanuts and crushed peppercorns on 4 individual plates.
  3. Grease your palms with a little oil, divide chenna-yogurt mixture into equal portions and shape into small balls. Roll each of them in the four ingredients separately and place on a serving plate.
  4. You can also serve in this manner: fill a small serving bowl with a spoonful of olive oil and place a ball in it.
  5. Chill and serve.
