Ingredients list for Yellow Rice With Raisins

  • 1 1/4 cups Rice
  • to taste Rasins
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon White peppercorns freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green peppercorns freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder

  1. Boil three and a half cups of water with salt and add rice. Add turmeric powder and cook till almost done. Add raisins.
  2. Mix well and add freshly ground peppercorns, white and green pepper. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Cover and cook for three to four minutes. Serve hot.
