Ingredients for Waffle Cone -SK Khazana Recipe

  • Refined flour 2/3 cup

  • Eggs 2

  • Melted butter 4 tablespo + for greasing

  • Castor sugar 1/2 cup

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • A pinch of salt

  • Milk 1/4 cup

  • Melted chocolate as required

  • Crushed roasted peanuts for sprinkling

  • Sugar sprinklers for sprinkling

  • Ice cream to serve

Method

Step 1

Break the eggs into a large bowl, add butter and beat with a hand blender till frothy. Add sugar and beat till the sugar dissolves. Add vanilla essence and beat till pale in colour.

Step 2

Sieve the flour and salt into the egg mixture and whisk well. Add milk and whisk to form a smooth batter.

Step 3

Heat a waffle cone machine, grease it with melted butter. Add a portion of the batter on it and press it. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Take it off the heat while hot and shape it like a cone. Set aside to firm up and cool down.

Step 5

Dip the rims of each cone in the melted chocolate and sprinkle crushed peanuts or sprinkle sugar sprinklers over the chocolate.

Step 6

Scoop out ice cream into the cones, sprinkle some sprinklers on top and serve immediately.
