Ingredients list for Turkey Breast Braised With Garlic And Rice

  • 1 Turkey
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup White wine
  • 2 teaspoons Dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sage
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 5 cloves Garlic chopped

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. In a baking tray combine rice, chicken broth, white wine, parsley, rosemary, thyme, sage and bay leaf. Place turkey over rice mixture and sprinkle generously with paprika. Place chopped garlic in rice around turkey breast. Cover the tray with foil.
  2. Bake at 350 °F for two and a half to three hours or until meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of breast registers 170 - 175° F. Allow to stand ten to fifteen minutes before serving. To serve, carve turkey into slices and place on a platter.
  3. Spoon rice mixture over and serve.
