Ingredients list for Tandoori Chicken Crescent Rings

  • 1 cup Chicken Tandoori, chopped
  • as required Dough Puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • for dusting Refined flour (maida)
  • as required Eggs beaten
  • for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves
  • to serve Onion rings
  • to serve Lemon slices

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC. Grease a baking tray with some butter.
  2. Take chicken, coriander leaves, salt, pepper powder, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in bowl and mix well.
  3. Dust the worktop with some flour, place the puff pastry dough on it and roll out into a rectangular sheet. Trim the edges with a pizza cutter to even out.
  4. Further cut the sheet it into long triangles and arrange the triangles on the greased tray in a way that the base of each overlaps another making a circle in the centre. Put the prepared chicken mixture on the overlapping end of the dough.
  5. Apply some water on the tip of the triangles, fold them inwards to cover the chicken and seal. Brush with the beaten eggs. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with onion rings and lemon slices.
