Ingredients list for Tallela Masalyatla Sarga
- 1 large Black pomfret cut into darnes
- 1 tablespoon Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
- to taste Salt
- 2 teaspoons Tamarind pulp
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- Oil,shallow fry
- 1/2 cup Rice flour
Method
- Marinate the fish with ginger paste, garlic paste and salt and let it stand for half an hour preferably in a refrigerator. Mix together tamarind pulp, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
- Apply the above mixture to the fish and let it stand for at least ten minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Roll the fish pieces in rice flour and shallow fry in moderately hot oil till done. Drain onto an absorbent paper. Serve hot.
