By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Soya Nuggets, Wheat Cuisine Hyderabadi Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 2 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Subz Khichda (Veg Haleem) 1 Soya Nuggets Soaked and Ground 2 1/2 tablespoons Wheat Soaked Broken 2 Onions 1 tablespoon Finely Chopped Garlic 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli Powder 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder 2 tablespoons Oil 2 tablespoons Ghee 1/2 cup Soaked Barley 1/2 cup Soaked washed moong 1 cup Curd 3 tablespoons Almond Powder a pinch Clove Powder 2 teaspoons Kashmiri Mirch Powder 2 tablespoons Chopped Mint 2 tablespoons Chopped Coriander 1 Lemon Juice For Garnish : 2 tablespoons Fried Onions 1 sprig Coriander Method Finely chop onions. Heat oil and ghee on a pan. Add chopped garlic, chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, cinnamon powder and mix well. Now add soaked and ground soya nuggets, soaked broken wheat and soaked barley. Cover the pan and let it cook. Once cooked remove lid of the pan. Now add curd, almond powder, clove powder, kashmiri mirch powder, finely chopped mint, finely chopped coriander, lemon juice and mix well. Remove Veg Haleem in a bowl.
