Ingredients for Steamed Chicken With Chilli Sauce And Vegetables Recipe

  • Chicken With Bone And Skin with bone and skin 800 grams

  • Green Chilli Sauce 4 tablespoons

  • Cabbage Cut into big pieces 1/2 small

  • Carrot Cut into big pieces 1 medium

  • Potato Cut into big pieces 1 medium

  • French beans Cut into big pieces 6-8

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Juice of 1 lemon


Step 1

To make the marinade mix together chilli sauce, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and lemon juice.

Step 2

Prick the chicken with a tooth pick, coat with the marinade and keep aside for 20-25 minutes.

Step 3

Pour 2 cups water in a pressure cooker. Place cabbage at the bottom of the cooker.

Step 4

Top it with carrot, potato and French beans. Place chicken on top and spread the remaining marinade on the top.

Step 5

Cook under pressure, on high heat till 4 whistles are given out. Lower heat and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Place the cabbage leaves on a serving plate, top it with the chicken and the remaining vegetables and serve hot.
