Ingredients for Sesame Tossed Greens In Hot Bean Sauce Recipe

  • Sesame seeds (til) roasted 2 teaspoons

  • Broccoli separated into florets 1 medium

  • Snow peas 1/3 cup

  • French beans diagonally sliced 10-12

  • Spring onions diagonally sliced 4

  • Pak choy roughly chopped 1 bunch

  • Hot black bean sauce 2 tablespoons

  • Sesame oil (til oil) 2 teaspoons

  • Garlic chopped 10 cloves

  • Galangal chopped 1 1/2 inch pieces

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 15-20

  • Soy sauce 2 teaspoons


Step 1

Blanch broccoli, snow peas and French beans in boiling water and refresh in cold water. Heat oil in a wok till it smokes.

Step 2

Add garlic and galangal and toss Add broccoli, snow peas, French beans, spring onions, pok choy, hot bean sauce and toss on high heat.

Step 3

Adjust salt and add crushed peppercorns and soy sauce. Toss and serve immediately.
