Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. 
Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Samosa Chaat Recipe

  • Samosas 4 large

  • Yogurt Whisked and chilled 1 cup

  • Sweet tamarind chutney 1/2 cup

  • Green chutney 1/2 cup

  • Cumin powder roasted 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Puris crushed paani puri 8

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Heat a tawa. Flatten the samosas slightly and place them on the tawa and heat over medium heat. When the samosas are heated through and slightly crisp on both sides, place them in individual plates.

Step 2

Pour the chilled yogurt over the samosas and top with the sweet tamarind chutney, green chutney, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, crushed paani puris and coriander leaves.

Step 3

Serve immediately.
