Ingredients for Roasted Garlic Bread Recipe

  • Garlic bulbs 2

  • Baguette bread 1

  • Olive oil 2 teaspoons

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Paprika powder 1 pinch

  • Fresh curly parsley a few sprigs

  • Fresh rosemary 2-3 sprigs

  • Butter softened 1/4 cup

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Step 2

Cut off a thin slice from the bottom side of 2 garlic bulbs, place them cut side upwards on a baking tray, drizzle 1 tsp olive oil on each bulb, sprinkle crushed black peppercorns and paprika powder. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Step 3

Meanwhile, finely chop a few sprigs of parsley and rosemary leaves.

Step 4

Slice the baguette into thick slices without cutting through.

Step 5

Take butter in a bowl, add parsley, rosemary and crushed black peppercorns. Squeeze the pulp of the roasted garlic and add it to the butter and mix well.

Step 6

Apply the butter mixture between each slice of the baguette. Place it on the baking tray, keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 7

Separate the slices and place on a serving platter and serve hot.
