  • 300 grams Red Pumpkin peeled and cut into 2 inch fingers
  • 2 cups Chocolate roughly chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • Cinnamon sticks 2 one-inch
  • 2 Star anise

  1. Heat 1 litre water with sugar in a deep non-stick pan. Add cinnamon sticks and star anise.
  2. Prick pumpkin fingers, add to the water and cook till soft. Drain and set aside to cool.
  3. Put chocolate in a bowl and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  4. Place a butter paper on a tray.
  5. Dip the pumpkin fingers in the melted chocolate so that they are evenly coated and keep them on the tray.
  6. Keep the tray in the refrigerator to set for 2-3 minutes. Transfer onto a serving plate and serve.
