Pineapple and Chana Dal Strudel By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pineapple, Jaggery Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Pineapple and Chana Dal Strudel 1 cup Pineapple 1 1/2 cups Jaggery 1 cup Pineapple chopped 1/4 cup Gram lentil a pinch Nutmeg powder a pinch Cardamom powder 2-3 Spring roll wrappers 2-3 teaspoons Oil as required Refined flour (maida) and water batter as required Icing sugar Method In a pan add Pineapple juice, chopped pineapple and jagerry and let it melt, then keep a little syrup from the melted jaggery separate. In the rest of the mixture put soaked and boiled gram lentil, nutmeg powder and cardamom powder. Keep the filling in the bowl and let it cool in the fridge. Apply oil on the spring roll sheets and put the stuffing in it then on the sides put the refined flour and water mixture and roll it. Prepare more such strudels’. Pre heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius and bake the spring roll for 8 to 10 minutes. Now put the jaggery pineapple syrup on the strudel. Keep them on the plate and drizzle with jaggery syrup and icing sugar.
