Ingredients
- 20 mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 green cardamoms
- 1 black cardamom
- A pinch of caraway seed (shahi jeera) powder
- 2 medium onions,chopped
- 2 tablespoons cashewnut paste
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon yogurt
- A pinch of turmeric powder
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan, add green cardamoms, black cardamoms, caraway seeds and onions and saute till lightly coloured.
- Quarter mushrooms and add to the pan and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add milk and let it cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Add cashewnut paste and mix.
- Mix green cardamom powder, garam masala powder and white pepper powder with 2 tbsps water and add to the mushrooms. Add salt and yogurt and mix well.
- Simmer for 1-2 minutes.Serve hot.
