Ingredients for Masoor Carrot And Pumpkin Soup Recipe

  • Split Red Lentil boiled 1/2 cup

  • Red Pumpkin sliced 2

  • Red pumpkin (bhopla/kaddu) sliced 250 grams

  • Oil 2 teaspoon

  • Garlic 3 cloves

  • Onion chopped 1 large

  • Vegetable stock 1 1/2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 7-8

  • Skimmed milk 1 cup

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

Step 2

Add garlic cloves, onion, carrot and pumpkin and sauté. Add vegetable stock, salt, black pepper powder and stir. Add masoor dal and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat till the dal is completely cooked and soft. Blend in a mixer. Pour into a pan.

Step 3

Serve hot.
