Marie biscuits dipped in coffee flavoured batter, kept one on top of other, covered with cocoa icing and set in refrigerator.

Ingredients list for Marie Delight

  • 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
  • 1 tablespoon Coffee powder
  • 1 tablespoon Icing sugar
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons Icing sugar

Method

  1. In a large mix together maida, coffee, icing sugar and milk. Dip the marie biscuit in it and place them in on an aluminium foil one above the other.
  2. In another bowl prepare the icing by mixing together butter, cocoa powder and icing sugar.
  3. Put the icing on the marie biscuit and cover the biscuits with foil all around and refrigerate for ten to fifteen minutes.
  4. Remove and cut into slanting slices and serve immediately.
