Ingredients list for Malai Sak
- 3 bunches Spinach
- 3-4 Fresh Cream
- 1 inch piece Ginger
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 cup Fresh cream
Method
- Remove stalks, wash and finely chop spinach leaves. Wash remove stems and finely chop green chillies. Peel, wash and finely chop ginger.
- Heat butter in a kadai, add cumin seeds and when they change colour, add the chopped green chilies and ginger and fry for half a minute.
- Add chopped spinach and sauté on medium heat for two minutes. Add coriander powder and salt and cover and cook on low heat till spinach is dry and butter surfaces on top.
- Remove from heat, add fresh cream, stir and serve hot.
