Ingredients list for Malai Kulfi
- 5 cups Milk
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 3/4 cup Khoya/mawa grated
Method
- Bring milk to a boil in a deep non-stick pan and cook till reduced to one third its volume. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and khoya.
- Add green cardamom powder, almonds and pistachios and mix again. Fill the mixture into kulfi cones or earthen pots (kulhads) and cover them with lid.
- Keep the cones or kulhads in the deep freezer for four to six hours or till well set. Unmould and serve immediately.
