Ingredients list for Lauki Lajawaab
- 600 grams Bottle gourd
- 2 tablespoons Tomato
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
- 2 medium Tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
Method
- Peel white pumpkin, cut lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into one centimeter small pieces. Heat oil, add onions and sauté until soft.
- Add ginger, garlic paste, stir and add tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. Cook for some time. Add white pumpkin, mix well.
- Add approximately three cups of water and cook until white pumpkin is cooked and masala is thick. Serve hot.
