Ingredients list for Kerala Squid Masala
- 500 grams Squids cut into rings
- 3 tablespoons Coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Method
- In a large bowl mix together squids with salt and turmeric powder.
Heat one tablespoon coconut oil in a pressure cooker. Add squids and pressure cook for one whistle - Blend together garlic, ginger, onion, red chilli powder, salt and black pepper powder with water to a fine paste.
- Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan add green chillies, tomatoes and the paste and saute for a minute.
- Add the squids and cook on low heat for few minutes.
Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
