Ingredients list for Kalakand Nest
- 200 grams Kalakand readymade
- 3-4 Samosa pattis cut into 2 inch thin strips
- + for garnish A pinch of saffron strands
- 1 tablespoon Warm milk
- 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped
- 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
Method
- Preheat oven at 180° C.
- Line individual small tart moulds with samosa patti strips and place the prepared moulds on the baking tray. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and demould the nests.
- Take a pinch saffron strands in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon warm milk, mix and set aside for 2-3 minutes.
- Take kalakand in another bowl. Add infused saffron milk, pistachios and almonds and mix well.
- Make quenelle of kalakand mixture and place in each nest.
- Serve immediately garnished with few saffron strands.
