Ingredients for Granola Bars Recipe

  • Almonds chopped 2/3 cup

  • Oats 1 1/4 cup

  • Raisins 2/3 cup

  • Golden apricots finely chopped 2/3 cup

  • Prunes soaked in warm water for 10-15 minutes 1/2 cup

  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon

  • Honey 2/3 cup

  • Walnuts chopped 2/3 cups

  • Sunflower seeds (charoli/chironji) 2/3 cup

  • Oil for greasing

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 160°C.

Step 2

Mix almonds, walnuts, raisins and golden apricots in a bowl.

Step 3

Put prunes, cinnamon powder, vanilla essence and honey in a blender jar and blend into a thick paste.

Step 4

Add 1 cup oats and blend again, transfer into the bowl. Add remaining oats and sunflower seeds. Mix well.

Step 5

Grease an aluminium tray and transfer oat mixture into it. Spread evenly and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

Step 6

Cool for 15 minutes or till it reaches room temperature, then keep the tray in the freezer to chill. Cut into bars. Store in an airtight container.
