Ingredients list for Fried Fish

  • 8 inch piece Fish
  • 4 Bread Slices
  • 2-3 coriander sprig
  • 4-5 Mint leaves
  • 1-2 sprigs Parsley
  • 1 sprig Thyme
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)

Method

  1. Break the bread slices and put into a chopper. Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, parsley, thyme, rosemary, garlic, pepper powder, salt and chop coarsely.
  2. Put this mixture into a bowl, add extra virgin olive oil and red chilli flakes and mix well.
  3. Break the egg into another bowl and whisk. Add refined flour and salt and mix well. Coat the fish pieces with flour paste, roll in the herbed crumbs till they are well coated. Press them lightly.
  4. Heat air fryer to 180°C. Brush the basket with a little oil and place the fish pieces in it.
  5. Fit the basket into the fryer and cook for 10 minutes. Check for doneness. If they are not completely done, cook for 2 minutes more. Serve hot.
