Ingredients list for Date And Hazelnut Laddoo

  • 2 cup Dates finely chopped seedless
  • 1/2 cup Hazelnuts roasted
  • 2 tablespoons White sesame seeds roasted optional
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

Method

  1. Dry roast sesame seeds, on medium heat, to a light brown. Remove on a plate and set aside. Dry roast hazelnuts and crush coarsely. Heat a pan, add dates and milk and mix.
  2. Add baking powder, mix and cook on medium heat, stirring continuously, till the mixture thickens and the dates get completely mashed. Add crushed hazelnuts and mix. Cook, stirring continuously, till all the milk dries up and the mixture begins to leave the sides of the pan.
  3. Cool the mixture slightly and then shape into even sized laddoos. Roll the laddoos in the roasted sesame seeds and serve.
