Chettinad cuisine, a speciality in Tamil Nadu, is famous for its hot and spicy non-vegetarian food.   A part of the Mudaliar community is non-vegetarians and its cuisine is delightfully spicy without being too hot. Wet masalas are generally used, the main ingredients being fresh coconut paste and ground ginger-garlic.

Ingredients for Crispy Veg Uttapam Pizza Recipe

  • Dosa Batter 2 cups

  • Green Chutney 1/2 cup

  • Carrot chopped 1/4 cup

  • Capsicum chopped 1/4 cup

  • Cabbage chopped 1.4 cup

  • Spring onion chopped 1/4 cup

Method

Step 1

Heat oil on a non stick tawa and pour spoonful of batter on it and make small uttapams.

Step 2

When the uttapam is about to cook sprinkle carrots, capsicum, cabbage, spring onions and cook till golden.

Step 3

Serve hot with cheese spread or green chutney.
