Ingredients
- 1 medium bottle gourd (lauki/doodhi), cut into cubes
- 2 medium onion cut into small cubes
- 10 cloves garlic crushed
- Salt to taste
- to taste black pepper powder
- A dash vinegar
Method
- Pressure cook bottle gourd, onions and garlic with four cups of water till three whistles or till soft. Strain the vegetables.
- Grind the vegetables to a smooth paste and strain the pulp.
- Heat a non stick pan. Boil the strained water and vegetable pulp.
- If the soup thickens, add a little water to get a soup consistency.
- Add salt and pepper powder to taste. Mix well.
- Serve hot with a dash of vinegar.
