Ingredients list for Cool Cool Lauki
- 1 1/2 kilogram Bottle gourd (lauki/doodhi)
- 3 cups Fresh cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Grate the bottle gourd. Set aside.
- Heat a non stick pan, add the grated bottle gourd and cook it with sugar and cardamom powder till soft and dry.
- Remove from the heat and cool. When it is completely cool add the cream and honey and whisk lightly.
- Freeze in an air tight container. When it’s about ¾ frozen, remove into a bowl and beat slowly for 10 minutes. Then refreeze.
- Scoop into bowls and serve cold.
