Ingredients list for Coconut Nougat with Banana

  • 250 grams Fresh coconut , grated
  • 250 grams Sugar
  • 6 Ripe yellow bananas
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 1/2 Nutmeg

Method

  1. Slit the vanilla pod and remove the seeds.
  2. Put the sugar in a pan and cook.
  3. Meanwhile peel bananas and put into a bowl and mash. Grate nutmeg over the bananas. Add vanilla seeds and mix.
  4. Once the sugar begins to caramelize, add bananas and mix.
  5. Add coconut and mix till the mixture forms a ball.
  6. Transfer the mixture onto a plate. Smoothen the surface and serve.
