Ingredients list for Coconut Nougat with Banana
- 250 grams Fresh coconut , grated
- 250 grams Sugar
- 6 Ripe yellow bananas
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 1/2 Nutmeg
Method
- Slit the vanilla pod and remove the seeds.
- Put the sugar in a pan and cook.
- Meanwhile peel bananas and put into a bowl and mash. Grate nutmeg over the bananas. Add vanilla seeds and mix.
- Once the sugar begins to caramelize, add bananas and mix.
- Add coconut and mix till the mixture forms a ball.
- Transfer the mixture onto a plate. Smoothen the surface and serve.
