Ingredients for Chocolate Cream Recipe

  • Dark chocolate chopped 180 grams

  • Dark chocolate chopped 300 grams

  • Cream 3 tablespoons

  • Butter 100 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/4 cups

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons

  • Salt a pinch

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Eggs 2


Step 1

Preheat oven to 160°C.

Step 2

Melt butter and 180 gms dark chocolate in a double boiler and whisk well.

Step 3

Sift together refined flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt into a bowl.

Step 4

Melt 125 gms dark chocolate separately in a double boiler.

Step 5

Add sugar to butter-chocolate mixture and mix well. Add ½ the sifted ingredients and mix well.

Step 6

Break 1 egg and add and mix well. Add remaining sifted ingredients and mix well. Break remaining egg and add and mix well.

Step 7

Add cream to 125 gms melted chocolate and mix well. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature

Step 8

Place a silicon sheet on a baking tray. Pour chocolate-butter mixture in a piping bag and pipe out small cookie shaped portions on the sheet.

Step 9

Place the tray in preheated oven and bake for 7-8 minutes. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature.

Step 10

Take one cookie and pipe a portion of chocolate-cream mixture over it. Cover with another cookie to make a sandwich.

Step 11

Chill in the refrigerator and serve.
