Ingredients list for Cherry Cheese Pineapple Cigars
- 1/4 cup Cherries tinned, chopped
- 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese grated
- 1/2 cup Pineapple tinned, chopped
- 12-16 Samosa pattis
- 7-8 Fresh mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida)
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
- Combine cheese, pineapple and cherries in a bowl and mix well. Tear mint leaves and add. Mix well.
- Mix flour with little water to make a thick paste.
- Place samosa pattis on a worktop and dampen with some water. Place a portion of prepared mixture on one end, apply flour paste on the edges and roll into cigars.
- Deep-fry the cigars till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve hot garnished with a mint sprig.
