Ingredients list for Cheese and Egg Toast
- 1/2 cup Cheese grated
- 5 Eggs
- 4 slices Brown bread
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chillies crushed
- for greasing Oil
- 4 teaspoons Vinegar
- 8-10 Cherry tomatoes halved
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Heat 1-1½ cups water in non stick pan. Add salt and bring to a boil.
- Mix cheese, mustard powder, crushed red chillies and 1 egg in a bowl.
- Grease a baking tray with a little oil and place the bread slices on it. Spread cheese-egg mixture on them and cook the preheated oven till cheese melts.
- Break 1 egg in a bowl. Add vinegar to boiling water, slide the egg in it and poach. Similarly poach the remaining eggs.
- Place cheese toasts on a serving plate and put a poached egg on each of them. Place cherry tomatoes along sides and sprinkle little mustard powder on top.
- Serve immediately.
