Ingredients for Caramel Banana Recipe

  • Bananas (elaichi) 12 small

  • Lemon 1

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • Sesame seeds (til) 2 teaspoons

Method

Step 1

Peel bananas and halve them horizontally and at a slant.

Step 2

Squeeze the juice of a lemon over them and mix well.

Step 3

Heat sugar in a non stick pan, add ¼ cup water and let the sugar dissolve.

Step 4

Keep a silicon sheet on a refrigerator shelf. Arrange the banana pieces on the silicon sheet.

Step 5

When the sugar melts continue to simmer till it begins to caramelize.

Step 6

Drizzle it over each banana piece. Sprinkle sesame seeds over them.

Step 7

Prick each banana piece with a toothpick and keep the shelf in the refrigerator to set.

Step 8

Serve chilled.
