Ingredients list for Cajun Rice With Beans
- 2 cups cups Rice
- 1/2 cup Red kidney beans
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 medium Tomatoes chopped
- 1 medium Green capsicum chopped
- ttaste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Crushed red chillies
- 2 teaspoon Mixed herbs
Method
- Heat oil in a deep pan. Add onion and sauté till translucent.
- Add tomatoes and green capsicum. Sauté for two minutes, add Cajun spice mix and boiled kidney beans.
- Mix well. Add rice, salt and lemon juice and mix well.
- Cook till the rice is heated through. Serve hot.
