Cut the French bread into long slices and toast till they become golden brown. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic to the pan and sauté till fragrant. Chop walnuts. Add mushrooms to the pan and cook on a high heat. Roughly chop raisins. When mushrooms turn light brown, add raisins and walnuts and mix. Finely chop parsley and add to the mushroom mixture. Rub a garlic clove on each bread slice, place them on a plate. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil and toast them in the preheated oven till crisp. Grate some parmesan cheese over the toasted bread slices. Cover the bread slices with the mushroom mixture.
