Ingredients list for Boa Loy

  • 1 cup Rice Flour
  • 1/2 cup Coconuts
  • 2 cups Coconut milk
  • a pinch Salt

Method

  1. Place the rice flour in a bowl, add half cup of hot water and knead into a dough ensuring that the dough does not stick to your hand. Add more flour or hot water as needed.
  2. Boil plenty of water in a deep pot. It is similar to cooking pasta. Pinch off the dough and roll it into a small balls in your palms and drop them into the boiling water.
  3. The balls will start rising to the top when it is cooked. Drain and set aside. Combine sugar, coconut milk and salt and heat the mixture on medium heat till the sugar dissolves. Add the cooked rice balls and serve hot.
