Ingredients
- 400 grams French beans ,finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup scraped fresh coconut
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When mustard seeds begin to splutter add onion and green chillies. Stir on high heat for a minute. Do not brown the onion.
- Add French beans and salt. Cook, covered, on low heat for five to seven minutes or till beans are cooked but are still a little crunchy. Add coconut and lemon juice. Mix well and serve hot.
