Ever wondered why the phrase “say cheese” is used just before a photograph is clicked? Simply because ‘cheese’ makes one smile! Not only the word but cheese as a food makes a lot of palates happy. Ingredients for Baked Cheese Recipe

  • Feta cheese ½ cup

  • Cream cheese 1 cup

  • Parmesan cheese grated ½ cup

  • Baguette 1

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Chives finely chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Balsamic vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Cherry tomatoes 3


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Grind together feta cheese, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic, crushed peppercorns, chives, balsamic vinegar and olive oil in an electric food processor to a smooth mixture. Spread the mixture on an oven proof plate and place cherry tomatoes on top.

Step 3

Place the plate in the preheated oven and bake for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4

Diagonally slice the baguette and place on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and toast for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Garnish the cheese with a fresh parsley sprig and serve with toasted baguette slices.
