Ingredients list for Baked Beans In Canapes
- 1/2 tin Baked Beans
- 12 Canape Cups
- 1 tablespoon Oil for deep frying +
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Hot and sweet sauce
- for garnish Grated cheese
- as required Coriander and mint chutney
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the canapés till lightly browned and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Heat one tablespoon oil in a non stick pan. Add the onion and sauté till lightly browned.
- Add the tomato and sauté till tomato becomes soft.
- Add the salt, red chili powder and hot and sweet sauce and mix well.
- Add the baked beans and mix well. Cook for two to three minutes and remove from heat.
- Arrange the canapés on a serving plate and fill each with the cooked baked beans.
- Garnish with cheese and a dot with coriander chutney.
- Serve immediately.
