Ingredients
- 12-16 bacon strips
- 12-16 asparagus
- Dijon mustard for brushing
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- Dijon mustard as required
Method
- Preheat oven to 180̊ C.
- Brush some Dijon mustard on all sides of asparagus. Sprinkle some salt and crushed peppercorns on top.
- Wrap each prepared asparagus with one bacon strip and place on a baking tray.
- Put the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or till the bacon is crisp.
- Put few drops of Dijon mustard on one side of a serving platter and spread. Place the baked bacon wrapped asparagus on the other side and serve hot.
