Ingredients for Apple Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe

  • Milk FOR ICE CREAM 2 cup

  • Apples peeled and chopped 2 cups

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Milk powder 1 cup

  • Fresh cream 1 cup

  • For apple-cinnamon flavouring

  • Sugar 4 tablespoons

  • Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

To make the ice cream, boil milk and sugar in a non-stick pan. Simmer, stirring, till the sugar gets dissolved.

Step 2

Take the pan off the heat and add milk powder and whisk well. Allow it to cool.

Step 3

Add cream and mix well. Pour into a shallow container, cover and freeze till firm.

Step 4

For the apple and cinnamon flavouring, cook the apples with sugar and cinnamon powder and a quarter cup of water in a non-stick pan on medium heat till the apples are soft. Cool the mixture.

Step 5

Remove the ice cream from the container and blend it in a blender till smooth and creamy.

Step 6

Add the apple-cinnamon flavoring and mix well. Freeze until firm.

Step 7

Scoop and serve.
