Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. 
Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Appetizing Apple Almond Soup Recipe

  • Apple cut into small pieces 2

  • Gooseberries cut into small pieces 1

  • Tomatoes cut into small pieces 2

  • Carrot cut 1 medium

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Cinnamon powder a pinch

  • Fresh cream 1/4 cup

  • Almonds blanched and peeled 8


Step 1

Pressure cook apples, gooseberry, tomatoes and carrot with two cups water till three whistles.

Step 2

Remove and puree the mixture and strain it.Heat a non stick pan and transfer the mixture into it.

Step 3

Add two cups water and let it simmer for ten minutes.

Step 4

Add sugar, salt, cinnamon powder, fresh cream and cook for a minute.

Step 5

Serve hot garnish with almond slivers.
