Ingredients list for Almond Biscuits
- 80 grams Almonds sliced
- 150 grams Refined Flour
- to grease Butter 50 grams +
- 100 grams Brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease the baking tray with butter.
- Cream butter and brown sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy.
- Separate egg whites, add to the mixture and whisk till the eggs are incorporated into the mixture.
- Add refined flour and almond slices and fold into the mixture and make a soft dough.
- Roll the dough into one-fourth inch thick sheet. Cut with square shaped cookie cutter, place them on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes or till the cookies turn light brown.
- Remove the tray from the oven and cool. Arrange the biscuits on a serving plate and serve.
