Ingredients for Aam Panna Sorbet Recipe

  • Raw mangoes boiled, peeled and pulp removed 3

  • Sugar 1 1/2 cups

  • Black salt to taste

  • Roasted cumin powder 2 teaspoons

  • Nutmeg (jaiphal) powder a pinch

  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish


Step 1

Heat mango pulp in a deep non-stick pan. Add 2½ cups water and mix well.

Step 2

Add sugar, black salt, cumin powder and nutmeg powder, mix well and cook till the sugar dissolves.

Step 3

Transfer the mixture in ice cube tray and freeze for 6-8 hours.

Step 4

Crush in a blender.

Step 5

Scoop into individual martini glasses, garnish with mint sprigs and serve immediately.
