Ingredients
- 250 grams bottle gourd (doodhi), peeled and grated
- 2 cups chilled yogurt
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- ¼ teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
- Black salt to taste
Method
- Boil water in a deep non-stick pan. Add grated bottle gourd and cook for 2-3 minutes. Drain in chilled water and set aside.
- Take yogurt in a bowl, add roasted cumin powder, asafetida and black salt and whisk well.
- Squeeze excess water from boiled bottle gourd and add to the yogurt. Add 3 cups chilled water and mix well.
- Transfer into individual glasses and serve chilled.
