Ingredients list for Yellow Rice With Raisins
- 1 1/4 cups Rice
- to taste Rasins
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns freshly ground
- 1/2 teaspoon White peppercorns freshly ground
- 1/2 teaspoon Green peppercorns freshly ground
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Boil three and a half cups of water with salt and add rice. Add turmeric powder and cook till almost done. Add raisins.
- Mix well and add freshly ground peppercorns, white and green pepper. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Cover and cook for three to four minutes. Serve hot.
