Ingredients for Watermelon Cooler with Basil Seeds Recipe

  • Watermelon 1 medium

  • Basil seeds (takmaria or sabja) soaked in water 4 tablespoons

  • Black salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons

  • Watermelon slices for garnishing 4


Step 1

Peel, roughly chop and seed watermelon.

Step 2

Pass the watermelon pieces through a juicer, strain and collect the juice in a jar.

Step 3

Put black salt, crushed peppercorns basil seeds and lemon juice into four tall glasses.

Step 4

Pour the prepared watermelon juice in the glasses, garnish with a watermelon slice and serve.
